Nefelibata (n.) lit. "cloud walker"; one who lives in the clouds of their own imagination or dreams; one who does not obey the conventions of society, literature, or art.
Bridget Hassold is a Colorado based artist. Having always loved art, she found her deep passion to create in 2010 in her first high school art class. After studying Studio Art at University of Colorado, Bridget decided to take matters in to her own hands, and immerse herself in the Denver Art Scene.
The inspiration for her artwork emerges from nature, music, and the elegance of female bodies. Bridget is drawn to a contemporary style as an accurate reflection of her perspective on life. Her paintings are mostly acrylic on canvas or mixed media, incorporating bold color, line, and texture.
